HAHA ..total deletion cause TU screwed up

Recommended Posts

I have an account with CBE Collections group that I have been dealing with since August.

I sent them validation and then disputed with CRAs. Experian and Trans Union removed it right away, EQ did not.

Well it was deleted on Nov 24 of 2002.

I pulled my TU credit yesterday and LO and Behold guess what was on there.

You guessed it CBE group. Well I dialed TU right away and told them "You reinserted this without notifying me within 5 days I want it deleted" The woman says let me speak with a supervisor.. after about 3 mintues she came back and said

"We are sorry about this, it will be deleted today and a new report mailed to you today"

I thought I was going to have to fight them but it all went smooth as silk.

STICK TO YOUR GUNS GUYS AND GALS!!!!!

ok...so if they reinsert....then im should just start all over again....dispute, dispute, dispute.....then validate with CA . basically start all over again?

is this very common? im getting close to my 1st 30 dispute time limit with 2 CRA's. and im just wondering what to expaect. in a side not...is it worth disputing with all 3 CRA's at once or would it be ok to just do 2 since what im told its the middle score that matters??

Nooooooooo, if they reinsert and don't notify you (the CRA's) then you send an Intent to Sue letter.

Huh? Not sure who told you that but that's not true, not all creditors pulls all three reports, most don't. Dispute with the CRA that has the derogs on it.
