huge score differences

Recommended Posts

We've applied for a mortgage and our scores that I accessed were:

TU 663

EX 630

EQ 624

But when the mortgage co pulled the scores they were way different.

TU 739 (I wish they were all that)

EX 612

EQ 612

So, since were were below the "620" magic window on 2 out of 3 we got zapped w/horrible rates. How can the mortgage co get scores that are that much different than what they show us? And he pulled them all individually, not as a 3 in 1.

Bank used an installment model for the credit score which grades on different criteria contained in the file.

Your score is grading on everything contained in the file.

There are bankruptcy; auto; personal finance; & installment models (each look at different information contained in the credit reports that are most important to each business using the score).

Ah DARN! Swede, Vonnie I've done went and lost my crystal BALL! GRR I hate when I do that!

For Real, though they have posted what they go by (their scorecard) its still a guessing game - its just not consistant!

My broker just pulled mine and EQ was HIGHER than what I saw online.
