You cannot avoid sending them your SSN, however. As proof of address, I simply sent them a copy of my electricity bill, and I did not sign my request for credit report either. They should not need a signature for locating the credit report with all the other information!I did give in and included the name of my employer ... in your case, you might want to say that you are now unemployed I sent out this request just yesterday, so will let you know what happens....-- lakpr Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
