troubledconsumer
I had a CC listed w/o any negative information , but status was listed as "purchased by another lender/Unrated", i wanted the notation Paid as agreed/closed put on in place of purchased by another lender/unrated. Both experian and TU deleted them entirely? should I ask them to renter the acct, or is this just asking for trouble?

If a TL is positive, once it's gone, it's gone; if it is negative, even though CRAs say it's gone, it reappears on your report at the most inconvenient times (such as mortgage apps) .... kb9tbq
CRA can't re-add once deleted; you can only go back to the OC to ask for it to be reinserted - and this is not always possible if it was too old of an account that they dropped out of their system. It can me done, however sometimes it's best to leave well enough alone [Edit by sweetpea on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 @ 07:10 PM]________Head Shop Edited May 12, 2011 by sweetpea

Both experian and TU deleted them entirely? should I ask them to renter the acct, or is this just asking for trouble? The President of TU is Harry C. Gambill. I wrote him after several unsuccessful attempts to get my good account added back and within thrity days they were back on. I also asked the creditor to get me a letter on company letter head also. TU deleted the accounts in order to punish me because they were reporting incorrect balance anddate of last activity. </blockquote> [Edit by sweetpea on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 @ 06:49 PM]________FREE ITUNES GIFT CARDS Edited May 12, 2011 by sweetpea
kb9tbq
The CRA will have to go back to the creditor just like the consumer to get the information to add back to credit report. That is why I say to cut the CRA out & go directly to the creditor youself with the request.
