paw67
My DH sent a dispute letter to TU approximately 1 1/2 weeks ago (by the way, didn't send via CMRRR). Yesterday in the mail he got a letter from TU that says:Thank you for contacting TU. Our goal is to maintain complete & accurate information on your credit report. We have provided the information below in response to your request. They gave him a complete list of all companies with information on his report and their address & phone number. Is this typical for them or does this mean that they aren't going to investigate what he sent? I am sending the disputes out again today via CMRRR just to be safe.Thanks!paw67
morrow
This is just a stall tactic. I got the same letter a couple weeks ago.I posted the same question, just diregard the letter and wait until the 30 is up and then take action with your next step. paw67
Thanks for the quick reply Morrow. That's what I thought it was but wanted to make sure. DH was soooo mad. He thought that they sent this instead of doing the investigations. Oh well...guess we'll just wait and see. Thanks again!paw67
Jackal
TU always sends this letter. I get one of those letters every time I mail in a dispute. Good thing about that is I dont have to end CMRR to TU, cause this letter states they got my dispute. The results will come later, dont worry.
