Lizzy
I see they have a Providian account as: STATUS-collection/chargeoff Charged off as bad debt purchased by another lender (which is FRC) but then it says under condition: Closed (paid) What does that mean? Should I dispute it as I am doing with EQ & EX? or leave it alone? My score is only 580 with transunion and 627 with EQ 625 with EX Sorry to be such a pain today. You all have really inspired me to get my self straightened out.

A collections/charge-off is always going to be negative, whether paid or not.
