cleancreditby04
... and guess what? Maybe 4 or 5 of the accounts listed are NOT MINE! They are my brother's ... they even have his name as "Also Known As". Can you imagine? Funny enough, they're the only one that has my year of birth correct. Two of the listings are for Discover cards, one is my brother's and one is mine. What do you think are my chances of getting the negative (mine) removed and keeping the positive? kb9tbq
Well first you will want to deal with the mixed file and get your brothers tradeline information removed from your credit report. Will have to write in to all 3 CRAs; send them copy of your drivers license (DL# marked out) they need your full name; social security number; date of birth & address.Be sure to have them remove all incorrect names; incorrect addresses; dates of birth; social security numbers possibly listed.Once they remove his information all the data not belonging to you should come right off. Then you will be left with your data only to work with.
cleancreditby04
But I WANT to keep his stuff on there ... at least for a little while. He has GOOD credit! :ooh:
morrow
Yeah but then you might take the chance of f*cking up your brothers credit.Do you honestly want to do that? Then you would not only be fixing yours, but also your bros!
cleancreditby04
 Well I told him about it, and gave him my login and pwrd to privacyguard.com so he could check it out. He's on top of his stuff and has credit watch, so he'll know any time something appears that's not his, and take care of it right away.
cleancreditby04
(ssssssiiiiiggggghhhhhhhh!!!) All-RIGHT! I'll get rid of 'em ... my conscience won't allow me to keep 'em on there too long. (sniff sniff) .... But I know his listings must be improving my score ... (sniff) Experian has my birth year wrong, is that a good enough reason to dispute everything as not mine?
