lefdi
Can anyone tell me if one is more effective than another? Also, give me feedback on the process I have initiated thus far?I have registered with all three CRA's. I have rec'd my report and score. I then used the "online dispute" feature on each CRA website. I disputed maybe 7 or 8 at a time.I used the "never paid late" comment.Has anyone had success using the online feature? Do I need to send CRR? If so, do I need to wait 30 days before I do the certified mail approach? Is their a trick to which comment you use? I used the "never paid late". Does anyone think the process I just outlined will give me the deletions I am looking for?Any input will be greatly appreciated.P. S. I went online to "National Credit Reporting" who had me in collections for a medical bill. They immediately sent me a letter attached with an e-mail and contact info to delete. creditmess
it all depends what you are disputing...wait 30 days for the current investigation to end.

paw67
lefdi,I have done both online and CMRRR and have had better success via CMRRR. Sometimes you get lucky with CMRRR because your dispute sits on someones desk for a few days before they start the investigation and that actually lessens the amount of time that they have to complete it. In doing them online they seem to verify easily and usually within 2 weeks. Just my experience. Also I started disputing items as "not mine" (learned that from members of this board). That way, if that doesn't work, you can later dispute dates, never late, balance etc. The hardest part is patiently waiting. If you're anything like me, once you got started you become obsessed Good luck!!paw67
