Experian Score Drops for no reason

Recommended Posts

Had you closed accounts? Some times it is not the best idea to close existing account up behind you burning your bridges. This can result in shrinking your availible credit thus affecting the credit limit / balance ratios.

The best way to handle this is to have a few accounts with less then 50% balance spread out; instead of one or two accounts maxed.

Would look at a prior credit report; compare the two - there has to be something which has changed to justify the difference. One thought might be that an old tradeline that was helping your credit may have expired off the report.

Had you applied for any new credit recently; adding inquiries to the credit report?

It is there; just have to look closely to find what changed.
