momoney4me
I read that someone on here was disputing 3 or 4 TL's every few days and felt it was to his advantage because the CRA was confused, therefore deleting multiple items. Can you really do that? I thought that I read earlier that if you filed a dispute & then added additional information, that gave them an extra 15 days in addition to the 30 to complete the investigation. I hate waiting the 30 days before disputing more items. Can I dispute more prior to receiving the response from the last dispute?
kb9tbq
I would not recommend it; you want to definately see the results from the first round to know if you need to follow up on them as well as your new disputes. If you don't like waiting 30 days now; you will definately be climbing the walls waiting 45 days from the extention. They keep everything very organized and even tell you the date that your dispute will be completed on which items. As for TU and EQ, I haven't tried it and don't think I will. I have had success with calling in to update personal info and inquiries, without it disrupting my original disputes. Otherwise, I would have to agree that waiting out the 30 days is best... blueranger
The key to all of this is variety... You do your first disputes and they remove somethings... then the nasty ca's verify and then you just keep disputing. I have used kind letters. I have used mean letters. I have sent one and waited the 30 days and i have bombarded them with letters...My experience is that they just don't care... and the 30 day thing has not been effective for me...the thing that works best is "Its not mine...." Smaller disputes with less items seem to work better than larger ones....Variety and persistance....The best thing for you is someone who hates there job and who just don't care....I beleive that is the bottom line... we dispute and then we hit that special someone and there is the deletions.
