I put in for a dispute and because of their incompetance, I now have so many other things on my report. For instance, instead of just listing my current place of employment since i disputed the other information, they have now listed my current place of employment 4 times ON TOP OF the other incorrect addresses. My birthday was wrong. So instead of fixing the actual day which was wrong, they just put month and year. They did not investigate ANYTHING as far as my accounts go. And the WK inquiries? Well, looks like they have just stacked up as soft but did nothing to the hard inquiries. UGH. My score dropped 30 points because of this........ SO PISSED! kb9tbq Posted June 4, 2003 Report Share Posted June 4, 2003 Sorry to hear that, the CRAs can be the souce of plenty of headaches. Did you call in your dispute or did you write in? Think sometimes writing in is the best way to go. Be very clear and spell out exactly what you mean, just like you are speaking to an eight year old. Even show them a picture of what is wrong highlighting so they can't miss it.On the employment part; I see deviations all the time, like different spellings of the same company. Just because each time the source provided information different from the prior source. I know what this is like - always have to clean up my mis spelled name all the time.Think some days you can possibly get the wrong person when calling in that had a bad day & for the Hell of it decided to mess with you when disputing. So if you know you are not up to being nice when calling best to just write in. Some here have better means of persuation than others when it comes to talking with people. Just the draw of the cards. All three have different file numbers, not just the last few numbers either, the start with 1133 & 1171. Do you think I have a third file floating around with TU?
