Anonymous
Should I care to remove inquiries that are older than 6months(i.e. 11months-2years old)Or when applying for new credit do they only take into account the last 6months of inquiries?thnx
md
The emphasis always seems to be the past six months. However, if they go by more than just the score and actually look at your report then they will see all of them. If it is just a couple here, a couple there, then no big deal. If you have quite a few, even if older than six months, try and get rid of them. They may see an inquiry and not a corresponding tradeline and may wonder why you were turned down by them. Just some thoughts.
