paw67
Sent dispute letter to TU and received the "we know you're working with a credit repair agency" blah, blah, blah. Waited 30+ days to see if they did the investigations but nothing happened. Sent letter saying how upset I was that they thought I was working with repair agency & that they now had 15 days to remove the items since they didn't investigate. Well, that letter was sent on June 13 and they received it on June 16. Today in the mail I received a letter dated June 20 that says, - If you have reason to believe that the fee charged by a credit repair company was too high, and/or its services were misrepresented, please let us know if you would like your situation to be referred for investigation by filling out and sending us the form below. With your permission, we will provide the information you send to the appropriate authorities. It would also be helpful for you to attach any brochures or documents you received from the credit repair company.Well, my question is, should I actually wait out the 15 days that I gave them or send them an ITS letter allowing them 48 hours to remove the items or face a lawsuit? At this point I am really mad. Both of the letters that I have sent were signed by me and I clearly told them in the 2nd letter that they were crazy to just assume that I was using a repair company. Any thoughts or suggestion. I'm sure there are others out there that have received the same response so I'm just looking for some tips as to what my next step should be.Thankspaw67
sisflomi
I would wait and see what happens. They sent me the same letter as the second one, but they were deleted in 30 days time for my bf.
paw67
Thanks for replying sis. I figured I should just wait it out the 15 days and see what happens. I have just had the worst luck with TU and everytime I get one of their stupid letters it just makes me mad :@ .Thanks again!paw67
Jackal
Thats why I never send disputes to TU CMRR.. They always send out some kind of leter, either the credit repair comapny letter, or the recent inquiry letter listing all of you addresses and phoine numbers for creditors. That proof they got your dispute.
