Lizzy
Ok, I sent a dispute letter and they received it on May 13th. Before June 13th, I got an updated report with what they investigated.I disputed 7 items. On the results they sent back, they only had 3 items listed. So I faxed them a letter someone posted to demand deletion within 5 days. Well today is the 5th day and 1 is gone but the other remains. Now what? sisflomi
You want to make a copy of the proof you have asking for investigation, and make a copy of proof they didn't investigate the items. Then you want to mail it crrr (you can fax this at the same time) to TU. Make sure you put the section of FCRA that they violated.
Lizzy
I already did that. I faxed it on the 20th. This is where I am stuck...now what should I do? Liz
momoney4me
I'm going through the same thing with TU. Instead of responding to my request for deletion, they wrote me back & told me my request for re-investigation was frivolous! I just recently sent a letter to their registered agent in my state, telling them I'm going to sue in 15 days if they don't delete. I also sent copies of partially-completed court papers showing my intent to file suit. I'm praying this works!

I got a repo deleted, and all medical bills, but the main beef I got with TU, is they are reporting paid collections, as "open" accounts. I keep disputing them, and nothing. Also, I tried removing my Fraud Alert I have with them, with no success. TU is a PITA, thats for sure, and what's funny, is I am having tons of success with EX, right now (no collection accounts remain there, and all thats left with EX, are the paid charge-offs). TU is Pea-U.[Edit by Waxworks on [TIME]1056737148[/TIME]]
