paw67
Just wondering if anyone knows whether or not TU shows an item to be in dispute if a CA has reported it that way. For example, DH's report has 5 accounts (same CA) that he is disputing and EXP shows all of them "In dispute by consumer per FCBA but TU just shows that the accounts have been verified. Is that just the way TU shows them or do they actually show disputed by consumer? I know that when I dispute directly with TU they do not actually show them to be in dispute but am hoping that they do when a CA tells them to show in dispute.Anybody know?? Thanks!paw67

Check around for more answers for sure.Andi
paw67
Thanks Andi, I know that when I actually initiate a dispute with TU it doesn't show. I'm hoping that if a CA updates them to say it is in dispute that they show it because, if they do, I (actually DH since they are on his report)have a CA on 5 violations for not reporting in dispute. They show the same 5 accounts on EXP but they say in dispute so I'm just trying to find out for sure on TU.Anyone else have any knowledge of this?Thankspaw67
sisflomi
If a creditor sends that its in dispute with TU, it will say indispute. I have one that says that, and its from the creditor, not TU putting it there.
paw67
GREAT!!! Thanks sis - I know now that I have the CA in violation on DH's reports for 5 accounts. They were quick enough after verifiying to add the in dispute to EXP (within 2 days but I do have proof of 1 violation on EXP) but on TU they still have not listed them as in dispute. Also, they updated 2 of the accounts with EQ (the only 2 left on EQ) to show paid but not in dispute, yet they still show a balance on both of these with EXP & TU.Looks like it is time to start on my (DH's) ITS letter. Should I point out all of the violations and demand deletion of all records or should I just tell them that I have them on several violations and requestion deletion &/or cash plus deletion? Thanks again for the help!!paw67
