donnak
Trans Union first- they are reporting a negitive collections on my report, I disputed it, they verified it. I sent a cease communication to collections company. I disputed again, it came back verified, I wrote to collections company and to company they are collecting for asking for them to in fact provide documentation that this is in fact my debt. (From a Hospital). Have had no response from either the CA or the OC. Do I need to dispute with the CRA again, or what? I sent letter to OC on 6-20-2003.Experian-is reporting two AU negitives on my report. I have written to OC to let them know I am not responsible for this debt, first premier's response was to reply to my husband and tell him to dispute with CRA. I have not heard back from Capitol one as of yet. Short of getting an attorney involved what other measures should I take?[Edit by donnak on [TIME]1057505146[/TIME]]
DocDon
It might be best to cut the CRA's out of the loop. If you haven't received a response to your DV letter, write to your Attorney General who will contact the companies per your complaint. The OC is ultimately the determining factor of what is being reported, so if they feel the need to force you to play some stupid game, they are sadly mistaken. Anonymous
TransUnion is screwing me up royally. I requested deletions on Accounts that were disputed. One was a creditor in good standing. All I wanted was to correct a payment that was incorrect. Instead they deleted the entire file of this creditor(First Premier Bank). I am peeved!! Is this acceptable? In California it seems that TransUnion and Experian are the most commonly used by creditors. My bank uses only TransUnion for credit. So even though I despise TransUnion I have to work with them or they will screw me.TU- 489EX-593EXP-

In fact, I don't recommend it unless you can afford to lose the tradeline if it comes back unverifiable. Any corrections along the lines of your situation should be handled directly with the OC to ensure the CRAs won't delete account history. Is it acceptable? No. But it is legal since First Premire did not respond to the dispute in time (so says TU) and justified deletion of account information.
Anonymous
Thank for the advice. I will have to deal with the OC since I can't afford to lose another tradeline from TU.What is better way to get a higher score with TU? Any advice.
kb9tbq
Call First Premier Bank and let them know you need help getting this tradeline back on your credit report, if they can't find it on file, offer up your credit report showing what the tradeline consisted of that is missing. This is sure worth a try to get the good tradeline back, ok.
