doublebuchi
Sorry I posted this on credit repair, it should be here. So here goes, for those who did not see it already.I have 4 med CA accounts with the same CA. Last week I sent a settle (actually I offerd to pay in full) for deletion letter. Today, I see that they already deleted with EX. I have not heard from them yet or sent the payment yet. This is a good sign.
kb9tbq
Boy, that where definitley easy on this matter - did you dispute this with the CRA during the time you sent the CA a letter?Or did they just do this on their own? That is great news,
doublebuchi
I disputed a month earlier. They verified. I only sent the settlement offer after they verified.
kb9tbq
Oh, that was mighty nice of them then, they went out of their way to contact the CRA back to delete. Are you going to be nice and pay them, since they did this for you....
doublebuchi
Of course I will. My mortgage is on condition that all collections are paid. I have the money on account waiting for their reply. I'm wondering though, how long should I wait for their reply, or should I just send payment anyway since they did delete from 1 CR. I guess I'll have to send it anyway this week, since closing is next week.
kb9tbq
Of course, if you closing is next week you will want to get the payment part done with so you give enough time for them to mail or fax confirmation on this matter. So you can forward to the mortgage company just as soon as possible, you definitely don't want anything holding up the underwriting department on this.I did the same myself on this matter - too many things can hold you up as it is when dealing with underwriting of a mortgage.I would say to just call them and get this part over with, let them know how you plan to make payment and make sure that they are working with you on this matter & know what you need back from them.
