kb9tbq Posted August 23, 2003 Report Share Posted August 23, 2003 Do you have a copy from the court house showing this case to be dismissed?You should obtain a copy and immediately fax it to TransUnion, telling them you want this removed from your credit report. BrainDonor Posted August 23, 2003 Author Report Share Posted August 23, 2003 I don't have the courthouse copy, but I do have an original signed statement of release from the attorney that filed the case. I can get the paperwork from the courthouse relatively easily. The problem is that when I disputed it originally with TU, I added another dispute 10 days later, inadvertently extending the time they have to investigate these items.
