Ainzboogie
To the credit gods of this board here is my situation. I had a Providian account that was charged off and is now being reported with a zero balance. The CA that bought the account I recieved their notice in the mail a few weeks ago. I immediately sent out a validation request to them and received the green card. But today I checked my open disputes through Experian and saw that they have now reported to at least Experian. I need some help as too what the next step should be. From what I understand they should have put down that the account is in dispute but they didn't do that. Please advise what should my next step be.

There's really no telling if they put in for the tradeline report on your CR before you sent in the validation letter or not.
