Time will heal all wounds and it will heal your score as time passes. But I wouldn't settle for that. Try disputing with the CRA's first and see if the collection agencys are willing to verify it with them. If they don't Horray! They'll remove the listing. If they do, you've got some work ahead. The next step then is to have the collection agencies validate the debts to you(this is your right). Try the first step by using one of the sample letters on this site. While you are waiting for a response take some time to read over this site to get tips and moral support.
