Anonymous
In 1992 I had a judgement against me. Well now I get some lawyer doing inquires . the judgement has been off my credit report for many years. in fl there is like a 20 year time limit or something on judgements.. (this judgement was for a gym membership that i never agreed to and in fact canceled.. didnt show up at court and then they got a judgement and certified it.anyway.. is it legal for this lawyer to be making inquires on my report for this old judgementany help appreciated thanks lorraine
georgiaboy
Its my understanding that if he/she is the atty representing the gym, and they have a judgement against you,,, YEP, there looking to see if you have more credit, hence more assets. The atty has a permissable reason, sucks dont it
