Secured Loan Program

Hi. I am a newbie here! I am very happy to have come across this site. I would like to know if anyone has ever used the secured loan program through buildingbettercredit.com. You pay a $79.95 fee and they give you a secured loan of $12000 which you don't actually ever receive literally--they put it into an account for you and you pay them a $19.95/month fee for 12 months (or payoff sooner with no supposed penalties) and once you pay the total of $319.37, the loan is considered paid (since it has been sitting in an account the whole time) and you credit reports will reflect that you have paid off this $12000 loan on time and in good standing.

It sounds like a great program, but of course I am skeptical. I couldn't find anything online about this company (that goes by the name of South Florida Management Group, Ltd). I did yahoo searches and also checked out the BBB. The whole purpose is that your credit score will increase once you complete this "program". They do not claim to remove anything bad from your report, just add something good.

So, does anyone know anything about these people?

Thanks in advance!

Rob

Hi and welcome to the board. If you go to the credit card section and look under the Sticky at the top, rebuild your credit, you will find better ways to rebuild than useing these scam companies.

Also, its best to only post your question just once. Since this is realted to getting or rebuilding your credit, you would want to either post it in credit cards section or the credit repair section. I answered your other post too.
