Sorry to hear that... that is a tough one when you go after disputing something that can yet be updated to a worse status.

Give a month and re-dispute this see if you can yet get it bumped... sometimes there are unfortunate set backs on this part. Might try for CHOD to see if you might have better odds during this time of the year - christmas / new years eve period.

I know what you mean about bad to worse. I had an account that was listed as a charge off and I disputed it saying that it was including in BK which was a mistake. They did verify that it was included in the BK and FICO went down 10 or 15 points.

I waited a month and disputed again as not mine and it fell off that time. So don't give up. These things take time.

Try concentrating on another neg or even another CRA for a few weeks then try, try again.

here is what you do..

dispute your name, address, job and all that....

Then dispute everything on your credit report... your coming up on

prime time... you could dispute your name, and address info

right now and then dispute your credit report during chod...

Save the DV with the CA's until your way down the road...

your in a knock down drag out fight when your doing that. Often

times you can accomplish everything with just disputing the cra.

read sisflo's sticky explaining how this works... and try again..
