VaSwtness
I know we've covered some of this but I'll ask anyway I have one CA showing on EX, EQ for an acct and then another CA showing on just TU for the same acct. Which is the best way to get both of them off or at least one off. The only difference I see in the reporting is the DOLA is different by 2 months. The CA collecting for EX, EQ has the right date. I have disputed as not mine with the CRAs and it comes back verified. I knew it would. It is past SOL and should fall off in the summer 04.What's the best approach with the CRA's before I DV the CAs? kb9tbq
Both collection agencies I am guessing is asigned... then which ever one is the oldest of the two - call them and tell them that they are no longer the asigned collection agency for the original creditor that you want it removed from your credit report! Then you are just left with trial & error disputing the newest one of the two. You can also try the validation route to this collection agency to see if they fail to proof this is your debt.
