Hey guys, i have been on the phone with the chrysler compnay and experian about deleted this trade. Of course experian has updated to included in bk. I told the chrysler place that the trade line had been deleted form my other 2 reports in june, but experian stillremains. They told me to call experain and dispute to have it deleted. I asked if they could send a letter to have this item removed, and they said dispute through the bureau and they could get it taken care of. I called experain relayed the message and they said it's was verified through the orginal creditor to remain and that they have updated the line to incl in bk. The credit bureau also informed me that this item could not be disputed anymore. Well, i just faxed over a letter b/c by law i can dispute as much as i like correct. Why won't experian budge on this one? Any advice and do you think the faxed letter to experian will help out now. I asked for a re-investigation and relayed what chrysler said.

Dear kjunior:

Your experience is similair to mine. Chrysler Financial had in their records two 30-day slow pays against both my husband and myself back in 1998. The three credit bureaus have listed four 30-day slow pays against us for the same account in 1998. Chrysler's customer service department told me they had been following the wrong guideline in reporting slow pays, and they were correcting the problem for all of their customers by July 2003. In September, I requested the three credit bureaus to verify or remove these slow pay dates. Equifax agreed by removing the negative pay dates and has sent me an updated credit report to confirm. Transunion upheld the four slow pays as verified - yeah, right. Experian hasn't responded - great. I don't remember ever being late paying on this vehicle; furthermore, both my husband and I have been marked on our credit reports by Chrysler Financial when I bought the vehicle solo. How can that be when he NEVER signed any of the paperwork? I'm angry at myself for not following my credit report more closely over the years. Until recently when I had to refinance my mortgage at a higher rate than expected because of bogas listings like this one on my credit report, I never gave it a second thought. Watch out corporate America this old dog is learning lots of new tricks, and I'm not stopping. My work is cut out for me since I've had to make this pursuit a part time job just to get a few things corrected and reported accurately but I think it's making me more determined than ever.
