MrGuy0717
I'm hoping that someone could answer these questions I have about Capital One. Does anyone know if they report authorized users? Also, my wife has 2 30 day lates on her card dating back to 8/2000 and 8/2001 that I would like to have removed. Has anyone had success in getting CapOne to remove lates through the use of goodwill letters or Planetfeedback? Thanks for all of the help.MrGuy
user33658
I just called them to add my DH as a AU to my account ( I had to give them his SS#) and the Rep I spoke with said that they do report the account to the AU credit report. Be sure that they did mark him as only an authorized user and didn't try to mark him as a joint user on this account.Sorry, not too many have had luck with the good will letters working on Capital One.. it is worth a shot none the less, just don't get your hopes up too much if you can't make it happen. www.planetfeedback.com is a good try.. even calling customer service and seeing if they would re-age the account to remove the lates.
