bmbowman
I am in the process of purchasing a house and I need homeowners insurance. Does anyone know of a company that does not really look at credit scores that much or that is more forgiving? Thanks,Brad

sisflomi
If you have state farm in your area, you might want to call them. We are doing the same as you right now. I ask before I give them my info to make sure.

Lil Smurfette
Me and DH just had to get Homeowners insurance. We went through Fidelity which was very reasonable around $500.00 annually. Fidelity has insurance companies all over, so check them out.
sisflomi
Yes, I am going with state farm. Its 620 a year with 500.00 deduct and covers 140000.00 if we ever had to rebuild. My sister is an agent with state farm, so I know it was done right. Also, it will go lower once it is written into our policy because we will have multi discount for having our car and motorcycle with them too. Even our car insurance is cheap with them, like 45 a month for pl&pd and another 50 a month for the harley with full coverage.
