StevePJC
Is this possible? I was laid off in December 2001 and that threw my wife's and my credit into tailspins. She took a position teaching overseas and we now have the money to file bankruptcy. Has anyone else done this? Is it even possible?
LadynRed
There's only one BIG glitch, you HAVE to be in court IN PERSON for the 341 meeting. If you don't show, the case is dismissed and NO ONE can go for you. The ONLY time I've read where the debtor was not and could not be present at a 341 was when the debtor DIED before the 341 meeting. The lawyer went .. and the case went forward even though the guy had DIED !
