Chan915
I have a question. This is the scenario:I was supposed to receive my pay check last Friday (October 3rd). When I asked the payroll dpeartment when I was going to get paid they kept ducking me. Since I am a consultant it took up until yesterday for the payroll department to finally issue my pay check. Well when I went to deposit the money I found out this morning that because my payroll department was late in giving me my pay check two checks were returned and I ended up incurring $210 in NSF fees. What should I do or is there anything I can do?
kathyinIL
You can ask the payroll department to eat your NSF fees, but they will probably turn you down. I would just be more careful in the future. I'm a consultant, and have learned the hard way not to spend money I don't actually have in hand.Good luck!kathy
sisflomi
If you never did this before, you could ask the bank to waive the fees for you. Then look into a line of credit to cover you checking incase it were to happen again.
