Privista and Fico Score

I signed up for Privista about a year ago before I knew about PG and some of the other sites. I was considering cancelling because it only updates once a week.

I received an email today about renewing, and they stated they are improving the benefits to include a FICO score, simulator, id alerts etc.. They also stated if I renew early, they will give me a discount of 15% for a total of $42.45.

Now I am thinking about renewing to get the FICO score. I think it would save money over myfico.com if I am able to view more often. If they update the FICO score weekly, that would be 52 updates, and would be much less in long run even with the discounts many of you have shared for myfico.com.

I am going to call them Monday to get some more details. I'm going to ask them if they have any discounts for new members also. Thought this might interest some of you.

I spoke with customer service and found out what the catch is. You get FICO score, but only once every 30 days and then you have to pay $12.95 to get a new one. They did away with creditxpert score. This doesn't sound like a good deal. I can go to myfico.com for score and get daily reports from PG.
