jazzybel
Hi,I'm new to this board and have tried to read and learn as much as I can. I think this is a great resource and a motivation for me to be proactive about my credit...so thank you to all of those who have posted such helpful information! I know I'll have many more questions in the following weeks as I've just started getting to work on repairing my credit, but my first question is about pulling reports. I've read different responses on pulling them the first time, so could someone please settle this for me? Is it better to purchase the 3-in-1 report from FICO, or should I contact each CRA individually for my report? I'm only asking because I've had some problems getting my reports from TU and EX online, and if it's okay to do so, I would rather just get them all at once with the FICO 3-in-1 report. Please tell me what you think...thanks in advance!

Not sure who's said that a 3-in-1 is the best way to go but that's absolutely incorrect. Always start out getting your reports individually from the big three's. The only thing a 3-in-1 is good for is general monitoring. You need to go straight to the source.
