melisadawn
Some of you may remember fiance and I tried to get an auto loan few months ago with a 696 score. He was turned down for insufficient credit. Well few weeks ago SBC ohio added a NEG on his report. Going by worthknowing he went from 20% to 15%. I thought ok that not too bad since 3 inq from auto loan took him to 15% and then 3 inq dropped off for age and then 1 more inq dropped when SBC came on. I thought maybe a 650 score now. I pulled his TU getting ready to go to car lot and have my dad check the car out (Car was below wholesale and appeared mint condition) Thought we could not get big loan but this loan would be for UNDER 10,000 and have 1500$ down. As you may know I was getting excited!! Well his score dropped to 593!!!!!!!!! For the 1 NEG Am so ready to give up. This car would be gone before I could even try to get it off this report!!!! bgbg1
That is why this whole credit system is F__CKED. I have great credit too and went through a rocky patch had a few lates and you might as well cut my arms and legs off. Before that happend I had 670 scores a few lates later I'm 564,565,575. I was denied twice for a home loan even though I make 50k a year. This is fu__kin war. I won't stop until the bodies hit the floor. They F___CKED with the wrong guy. Okay had to vent sorry. Do the same thing overload those pieces of trash with paper work telephone calls make them wish them had never even knew your name
melisadawn
No problem at all with venting!!!! He also makes pretty good money. And going by his debts going out he has none!! This place is in my name and so are all utilities. Alot of us hit rocky spots. Whether we slack off, get sick, lose job or in fiance name on some of his stuff family put stuff there. utility collections which he is not going to sue for. But maybe for the best to not have auto payments. I will get over it after a few dreams lol.

kb9tbq
Sorry to hear that, is it possible that you can buy a get along car for a bit, until scores are better, then trade in for something better?I am recently trying to help my mom find a car, problem is that she is very limited in income & had to ask the bank to borrow against the house. I have not worked the numbers yet, but they are going to give her a 10 year loan on $11,000 aproximately! $5,000 already used for new furnace this year. At the amount they want to charge per month she will be re-paying $21,000! I don't know what to do on this matter, cause she needs a car to get to doctor. melisadawn
We do not "really" need a car. But this was a 2001 Grand Prix for 7900$. Looked really good. And with good credit payments were 129.00 a month plus 1500$ down. Then since he had 1 NEG and low score added they said IF he was approved (I took in CR not have it pulled) his would prob be around 160$ a month. So this was a matter of a good deal. He does want to get a truck. Just something to haul boat. He is not picky in what he drives. As long as it gets boat in and out of water he does not care. I think I was getting happy and felt I could not pass up a 129$ a month payment for a 2001 grand prix (even anything under 200$ a month is good) Also not sure ob his fico score as I can not pull it. I guess something about no history so nothing is avail. So he may not really have a score???
kb9tbq
Might be a matter of adding him as an authorized user then - to someone elses accounts - just to get the ball going.
melisadawn
I do not know if anyone in his family has anything. Considering his mom had bills in his name that weren't paid. I may talk to my mom on putting me on some of hers when mine clears up.
kb9tbq
Just remember a person adding authorized user - does not have to have perfect credit themselves (this part does not cross over) just a one good tradeline can be shared by anyone.
