DH has several listings that should be going bye-bye sometime next month because DOLA was 11/97. I called to ask them if there is a certain day of the month when these items will be removed. The rep. said that no, it can be any day between the first and the last day. So, when I said, "well I need to get these off asap" she said, "well, if they aren't off when you need them off, just call next month and we'll remove them if it's been 7 years." Now, something tells me that it might be not quite as easy as she made it sound, but I'd be willing to call them on Nov. 1st and put it to the test! If I weren't trying to get a mortgage right now, I could care less which day of the month they come off. But right now, each day of waiting is like an eternity. I can't wait to see all listings for GMAC (only one remains) GONE from our files! If they are not, have dh call nov 1 and make them take em off. You have reports showing thats when they gotta go, so don't worry too much about them staying.I will join you for the "going away" party. Let me know which web site and what to bring!! The 97 ones I was jumping the gun on are all paid, so I'll try getting rid of those during CHOD. GMAC has been a thorn in our side for a long time, I can't wait to see them GONE.
