mason
I'm getting my disputes ready to mail out friday morning. I'm very very low on ink and I don't think I have enough to print out copies of my credit reports. Will it be ok if I don't send them with my letters? I also have an old copy of equifax from june and one account i don"t have a full account # for it. Will they have a problem with that?
retmar
I have never sent copies of my reports when I disputed. I just put the account number and name of reporting party along with the reason for the dispute and have never had a problem.

mason
Aaahhh! my computer crashed last night and I couldn't finish! Thanks for the responses. I still have a partial account number for one tl, only the first three letters. Has anyone had any success before with a partial account number? Happy thanksgiving everybody! retmar
The CRA's don't include all numbers referring to an account when they send you a copy. It is for your protection. Therefore, if you send all info to the CRA that relates exactly as they sent it to you, they will know which one it is.
