sentry1170
Hey guys, what does deleted mean on a credit report for any creditor? Is it good? bad?
DocDon
If you are referring to the results of your dispute. "Deleted" means the tradeline was removed from the credit report. If it gets reinserted and they do not notify you in writing within 5 business days of the reinsertion, the tradeline must be removed permanently. Ravenous Wolf
Deleted from a credit report means it was deleted from a credit report. However, that can be a good thing or a bad thing.Everybody here jumps for joy when they get a negative trade line removed from their credit report. However, it sucks big green donkey [EXPLETIVE DELETED] when a good trade line is inadvertently removed. I have a history of dealing with boneheads at banks and credit unions in trying to get them to re-insert a good trade line.
