wert
On my particular case, I was lucky and got if off one CRA. Before all scores were the same, after it came off, that one shot up 53 points and is now over 700.
Ravenous Wolf
From my personal experience, my public record, a paid tax lien has made my score suck big green donkey [EXPLETIVE DELETED].Although my score has improved in the past year, I still get the chorizo from that public record even though it is almost seven years old.Like, each time a credit app is turned down, that public record is almost always stated as one of the reasons for turning me down.It is a big red flag even though I paid it off a long time ago and that I have numerous paid installment loans and almost all of my credit items show up as NEVER LATE.Now that I have such a good credit history and a good mix, my score wouldn't really go up too many points once it is removed. However, that stigma of a public records plagues me to this day...
