hawk3254
Well, I was on credit expert today. Found out that if I reduce (duh) the number of credit inqueries, my score will go up. Here is the catch. alot of these inqueries are from CAs. How do I go about getting these off ? Any advice would be appreciated.
herauntsis
Have you requested debt validation from the CAs? If you have, and they are putting inquiries on your report without having validated the debt, they have no PP.

herauntsis
I wouldn't think so -- it is not for the purpose of extending credit or to review or collect an account. I don't really know for sure though.
DocDon
If they are contracted to collect they have PP to pull a hard (except in cases where it's done after a DV). If they pull an inquiry to see if they want to buy the debt without being assigned the collection? I don't think that's PP. That's like their buddy who owns the debt calls and says "you want it?", the other guy says "I don't know, let me check". Uh uh. No.
