PayCutHurtMe
FDCPA is only $1000 PER ACTIONwhich means per time you file a suit against themPunitive damages might count, but then ya couldnt do small claims.just my 2 and changeif the tradelines are not listed as disputed (or deleted) add $3000 for the FCRA violations, too.If you're talking about violations of Section 623b, they are, unfortunately, not actionable by individuals. sdc2027
Here's my update- almost 3 months have gone by.. the reason I have waited around is that since the credit company filed first I was to wait 60-90 days for an update on my court appearance...I HAVE HEARD NOTHING! I countered with my own suit and am unsure what steps to take next... I need to get an update on my CR and see if items have been removed as well.... I unfortunely just put it all on the back burner and forgot it.
sdc2027
I called the courthouse and found out that the claim is in a closed status with nothing having been done- I was to wait for the plaintiff to follow through. I have checked my credit reports and found that all but one still have them on. Should I again dispute with CRA or with CA? Thanks
