J_Snow
Why not just a C&D? How old is this debt. Is it beyond SOL?J
megahurtzzz
SOL is about up, i just want to avoid this hitting my credit reports. I think im going to try to settle this one, just to avoid the extra hassle and paperwork.thx
J_Snow
How long until SOL? If its really close I sure wouldnt pay. Whats to stop them from reporting it after you do pay them? Lets see what others have to say...J
herauntsis
Right off the bat, they are in violation of the FDCPA for sending you a settlement offer without having validated the debt. If they report to the CRAs without having validated the debt, that's another violation. Did you ever get a mini-miranda from them? Maybe you can sue them for enough to pay the bill Dear Arrow Financial,I sent you a request for validation in September 2003, to which I have had no response. Once again, I am asserting my rights to under the FDCPA and demanding that you send me a full and complete validation of the debt you say I owe you. Also, let me reiterate that I do not wish to coomunicate regarding this matter except in writing.Sincerely, megahurtzzz

c m chase
I'm still waiting on any response from my complaint filing on Arrow. Send complaints to AG, BBB, IL licensing board and ACA about 2 weeks ago. After about 4 or 5 months of dv'ing and complaining, they still haven't even marked the account in disputed.
