Weird Situation

I found on my experian report a couple of old collection accounts which I paid off. The problem isn't the accounts, its the fact that 2 of them are wrong because they are duplicate accounts with a few numbers changed.

Who do I complain to? Do I write a validation letter to the CA or dispute it with the Experian?

Thanks in advance.

Dispute with the CRAs as duplicates. I've never had a problem getting dupes removed...but it does preclude you using the "not mine" defense on the remaining entries later. How could you know they are dupes if the debt isn't yours?
