schellmis63
What happens if these account numbers that they are giving you are incorrect? I have confirmed account numbers with past OC's and they are not mine.
DocDon
Little more detail please. Don't quite follow the circumstances.
schellmis63
I was checking my CRA and the account numbers that are in collections are not the same account numbers for that OC. What is up with that? Why do they have a wrong account number, how can they even begin to validate?
herauntsis
When an OC turns an account over for collection, the CA gives the caollection account its own internal account number.

You don't have a debt with the CA, but by reporting it that way they are trying to make it look like you do on the CR.Any one have any case-law showing this is a violation?
