schellmis63
My issue today is... I am writing up my letter for DV? I think that I got that right. However, I never sent the 2nd validation letter certified mail. However, we know that they got it. The first letter did not have any trouble getting there. How much room do I have to stand on my second letter? They can easily say that they did not recieve it. I know that I should send this DV letter Certified. Sorry don't have my abreviation sheet infront of me.
Guest
You only have to show or say that you sent it.. if they got the first its going to look bad if they said they didnt get the second.you should be fine
DocDon
How did they communicate to you that they received the second letter? If they somehow acknowledged receipt it should be fine.

schellmis63
they sent me a verification letter when I asked for validation. So now I will send my letter, thanks
DocDon
So they're asking for personal info when they should have sent proper validation? Sounds like a violation to me. Don't send them any information they request from you regarding this collection. Your name and their assigned account number are plenty.
