Joeybadabing
I am currently living in NY. I am assuming that I have to file the motion in the court that issued the lien (judgement). Or can the venue be changed?
Bluebyu
I did mine a few months back, very easy to do....LadynRed gave me alot of good info....I called the court where it was from and asked them to send me all the papers I needed to file a motion to vacate a judgment...They did, it even came with directions on how to do it...I sent them out, and they sent me a letter telling me I had to file an answer, I filed it out sent it back and in 3 weeks I had a court date...I went to court, got the judgment vacated, and the $ 10,264 judgment is gone...They printed out the paper I sent it to the CRA'S and they all deleted it from my CR's.........Hope this helps....What court is it from ? Joeybadabing
A CA from NJ filed it representing the state. The CA could not contact me and had the state issue the lien. Looking at my CR the CA did a soft INQ.My info teh correct one was there. So it may be an issue of improper service. Thanks for all the help!
