This is classic. I sent a debt validation to CFC financial.

Their "compliance" specialist sent me a computer print out of a old telephone SBC balance.

on each one there is a "this is a attempt to collect a debt" statement.

So, is it a "attempt" to collect a debt without truely validating ?

and how does a copany validate a telephone statement ?

thanks agian !

Sounds like a plan to me.

I've never been able to figure out utilities.

There's no written contract, only a agreement over the phone and an old phone bill isn't proper validation.

American Agencies tried to get me for some Pacific Bell bill. Didn't work though and it was deleted.

I could not find them listed on the BBB...are they listed under asset? I have sent them 3 notices so far, and never gotten a response.

They were originally on my EQ report, but after my second validation letter, they inserted on the other 2 WITH the notation that I dispute the account...still a violation.
