maraqtdoll
I disputed an old Macy's account. It was 30days late years ago and the account has been closed since around 2000. I disputed it as never late. Experian "updated" it but didn't delete it. What does this mean and how should I go about getting the trade line deleted?the account is old but closed so is it even worth it to get it deleted? could it hurt my score? DocDon
Don't touch it. FICO offers relief to lates that are more than 2 years old. If you delete the entire tradeline, your score will drop because you've lost the history behind the account.
