Ravenous Wolf
I don’t understand this one bank I use.It has no withdrawal slips for your checking account. It has one for savings but none for checking. You have to write a check out to CASH and then present that to the teller. All my other my other banks allow me to withdraw my own money by a withdrawal slip.I just wonder what the deal is here? And wouldn’t withdrawal slips be more efficient since checks have to take a circuitous route anyway?I was just annoyed to day. I ran out of checks and I didn’t have my check card with me. Fortunately, they printed out some temporary checks so I could withdraw my own money…
DHK
Wow. That doesn't make any sense to me either. We just use the same type of slip no matter what the account is.At least you were able to get service.
kimm
Boy, I must really have a backwards bank. I didn't even know any bank had withdrawal slips for checking accounts. Always have had to write out a check for cash. (lol)kimm
DocDon
They want to make it as inconvenient as possible for people to pull money out of the bank. They'll take it with no problem - you can walk in, tell them an account number and deposit money into it, but if you try to make a withdrawal, you need 2 pieces of ID, a thumbprint, and DNA sample.
