Using soft-inquiries through Privace Guard or similar service to create a large number of inquiries that credit grantors can't see. Because the databases the CRAs use have limits on the number of inquiries they can store per report, new ones go to the top of the list while older ones drop off the bottom. Put in enough softs to remove all the hard-inquiries generated by credit applications and it looks to the grantors like you have no inquiry history for the past 2 years...which brings your score points up.
