bookgirl
Does the 7 year limit on collections on your credit report start as of the DOLA or the date the account was opened (placed in collection)?
Methuss
date of last activity+180 days+7 years. This is why we generally say don't pay on old debts unless you get an agreement in writing to remove derrogs. Making a payment generates an activity and makes it stay on your report even longer if you don't have some agreement with the furnisher of the information.
