Got mine, hot off the press!

Now I did have trouble with it yesterday and got the message about not taking disputes online..blah, blah, blah, but I looked back at the old reports and realized I was putting in the wrong address.

Seems to be down now? I can't get to the link anymore, just times out. Can anyone else confirm?

I just ried this link again and it still works. Go back to the original post and click the link that was used. It will ask you a series of questions to verify your identity, but it works.

Still works for my husband, but doesn't work for me any more :(

We are unable to allow access to our online dispute service at this time. You must have a current copy of your personal credit report in order to dispute information.

If you recently obtained an Experian credit review from another company, then you may want to try your dispute later. Our system does not yet recognize your order.

If you have not obtained a copy of your personal credit report, you may call 1 800 204 1410 to order your report through our automated service. If you are entitled under state or federal law, your report may be free.

I have been pulling since I have started my disputes. I guess as long as you have disputes happening you can pull using your same report number. I have been pulling since March 1st. :)

I have a question and a suggestion.

The link ( www.experian.com/rs/fi39.html ) mentioned by the op leads to this address: https://www.experian.com/consumer/cac/InvalidateSession.do?code=CDIRESELLER&rid=R039

Some of you were reporting having troubles.

In reading this thread "Important Question please?"

http://debt-consolidation-credit-repair-service.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=41154 , someone offered this suggestion http://www.experian.com/cic

|

--> https://www.experian.com/consumer/cac/InvalidateSession.do?code=CDICIC

That link takes you a screen that looks identical to the screen for the earlier link, but the link address is slightly different. I wonder if anyone of you will have any different luck.

Here's another suggestion:

"how to get a free EX report really easy and talk to a person"

http://debt-consolidation-credit-repair-service.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=39888&highlight=experian+free

|

--> http://www.experian.com/reportaccess/

|

--> https://www.experian.com/consumer/cac/InvalidateSession.do?code=CDIDEC

This link takes you to a screen that looks almost identical to the other screens except that towards the bottom of the screen if you were denied credit you can enter the "Name of business involved in adverse action:"

Last suggestion:

"How to dispute personal information"

http://debt-consolidation-credit-repair-service.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=35558

"Does anyone ever use this website to get their report?"

http://debt-consolidation-credit-repair-service.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=27060

These two topics discuss a link that takes you to this address: https://www.experian.com/consumer/cac/InvalidateSession.do?code=DISPUTE

This address takes you to a screen that asks only for your report number, state, zip code, and social security number.

That also strikes me as a little odd, though, that that is all that is required to obtain a free current credit report whereas the earlier websites take you to screens that ask you for much more information.

Given that the error message includes, "You must have a current copy of an Experian credit review that you obtained from another company in order to use this service," permit me to wonder aloud if perhaps it only works for the folks who've recently pulled their report another way?
