vader
I'm trying to clarify something.I read a lot of posts were people say " I disputed it" or in answering a post the person will say, "just send in a dispute to the CRAs"So, when you send in a dispute are you saying " this acct is not mine"and then see if they can verify it?Or do you actually be more specific like, " the acct shows a balance, however this acct has been paid in full, see attached docs.."and if you use this approach, do they usually delete the acct or just change the info you mention. c m chase
With all disputes, the first you should use is "not mine" - doesn't have to be fancy or anything. Then if it's verified, you can dispute again at a later time with whatever you want....wrong DOLA, wrong balance, account is closed, wasn't late...etc.
admin
Don't forget to ask them for "method of verification" once something comes back as "verified". This has worked wonders.
